Recently I have had some lovey jubbly people to stay and been on several adventures with my own beloved family as well. However, these explorations have led to come up with a few tips for ever going anywhere with any member of my family. A few do’s and don’ts you could say.

1. Always bring more food than you could possibly imagine consuming, motivational sweeties are essentials along with some nuts and bananas to balance out that sugar high. 2. Always bring double the amount of water you think you need – leaving spares in the car for afterwards. I am like a large camel who’s humps need re-watered. There is never enough water for me, I will drink your supplies.

3. Pack clothing for all possible weather – never assume because it starts out sunny you won’t need a full change of clothes and waterproofs later or just because it’s raining you won’t need the sun cream at your midpoint.

4. Possibly the most important point – NEVER EVER believe the family member describing the outing. #shortwalkbeforelunch #5hourslater
5. Unless you are prepared for at least a smattering of type 2 fun (if not type 3), do not let Thomas Joseph Finn lead the way. I’ve learnt that the hard way.

I promise you though, if you are up for an adventure and bring a can-do attitude we are always in the market for a fun day out. So, come play, we’ll show you the way…
